ZIRCAR Refractory Composites, Inc. produces a comprehensive line of advanced high performance ceramic-ceramic composite materials and related products. Our materials are used around the world in the most demanding thermal, structural and electrical insulating applications ranging in temperatures from 600°C(1112°F) to 1650°C(3002°F). For over thirty years, we have been a problem-solver working with our customers to resolve their thermal management problems. We have developed products that have become industry standards for induction melting, forging and heat treating applications, investment casting, glass processing, hot pressing, as well as many high temperature electrical applications.

RSLE-57 is an integral part of the production of hot pressed diamond segments. RSLE-57 is used as a separator to electrically and thermally insulate a metal ram or frame from a graphite pack. It will see in excess of 1000°C (1832°F)+ with several thousands pound per square inch compression without any surface deformation. RSLE-57 will last 10 to 20 times longer than ANY calcium silicate, asbestos or other hot press insulation!!!	ZIRCAL-18 is a new low density, highly insulating Calcium Silicate boards with use in applications up to 1100°C(2012°F). It has lower Thermal Conductivity and cost than Ceramic Fiber! They are now available in 24" x 48" and 36" x 48". In 1/2", 1", 1 1/2", 2" and 4" Thick. ZIRCAL-18 can be cemented to form large insulating structures.	ZRCI's Type RS-100 and Type RS-1200 are now available in 48" x 48" Sheets. They are superior high temperature, 1260°C(2300°F), electrical and structural insulation. Rs-100 has a smooth polished surface and RS-1200 has an as formed finish for cost savings. RS-100 used as an electrical insulator in a steel melter.
RS-100, ZIRCAL-18 and RS-101 Shell are combined for a strong and highly insulating package for high temperature fuel cells.	RS-501 cylinders are ideal for induction forging applications. They are virtually thermal shock proof.	RS-100 used as a heating coil support.
RS-101 cylinders can be made in many sizes.	RS-101 Cylinders can be made up to 4 feet ID and 5 feet tall.	RS-100 has superior flexural strength.
RS-200 is used as casting spouts and tips.	RS-101 Cylinders can be made up to 4 feet ID and 5 feet tall.	Special configurations are available.

ZRCI's RS-99 is 99%+ pure Alumina. Type RS-99's high alumina content is ideal for high vacuum, reducing atmospheres, and other applications where silica cannot be tolerated. ZRCI Materials can be machined to tight tolerance with standard tools.		Large RSLE-57 boards are made for low thermal expansion setter. They can be made up to 60" wide and 3.5" thick.
RSLE-56 is used as a non-wetting trough liner for non-ferrous metal casting.	RSLE-56 is easy to apply to existing set ups.	RSLE-56 is lower density than traditional cast refractories.
RSLE-56 is used to protect a graphite shaft when immersed in molten Aluminum.	RSLE-56 is easy to use.	RSLE-56 will adhere to graphite and will not react or sublime.
ZRCI Increases capacity for die cut gaskets made from a variety of high temperature materials.	RS-Cloth and RS-Tape can be used to protect induction heating equipment. Use of Al-Hard Hardener will make it "Rock-Hard" .	Silica Blanket Type SB-2000 is a strong reliable alternative to Ceramic Fiber Blankets.
